The new BlackBerry designed by Porsche Design in cooperation with Research In Motion (RIM), P’9981, was presented at an event in Dubai on Thursday. The phone is complete with hand-wrapped leather elements and is expected to sell for roughly $2,000 a piece. The phone is equipped for high-speed Internet and recording video in HD quality, according to Porsche Design. Blackberry Porsche Design P’9981 is said to be the luxury smartphone from Blackberry and Porsche. The phone has stunning design but it looks very different from other cell phones. It has stainless steel frame, leather back cover, newly designed QWERTY keypad and a touch display screen. The cell phone is powered by Blackberry OS 7.0 and will be running on 1.2 GHz qualcomm processor (MSM8655 chipset).

Networks: It will work with both 2G and 3G networks in the frequency ranges GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 and HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100 respectively. 3G has its own advantages that you will feel when you use it.
Size: It is measuring 115 x 67 x 11.3 mm and has the weight of 155 grams. Means it is quite heavier than other normal phones.

Camera: It has 5 Mega Pixels camera with 2592х1944 pixels of resolution. The camera incorporates LED flash, Geo-tagging, face detection, image stabilization and autofocus. There is no secondary camera so that video calling cannot be done in this phone.
Softwares: As I have described in the very starting of this post that it runs on blackberry OS and 1.2 GHz processor.
Other Applications: It has GPS support, NFC support , audio and video player, Document viewer, Voice memo/dial, Predictive text input , 3.5 mm jack etc.
Battery: The most important specification of any phone is its battery. It has Li-Ion battery with the capacity of 1000 mAh. It gives back up of around 350 hours in stand by mode and around 5 hours in talk time mode
