Nokia has In Order to reach the parts of world where Mobile devices have not yet penetrated have launched two new cheap models namely – Nokia 100 and Nokia 101 … which are priced at meagre rs 900 and rs 1100 .. respectively
The Nokia 101 features a colour display, MP3 player, microSD card (up to 16GB), 3.5 mm audio jack, FM radio, and a flashlight. According to the company, its 800 mAh battery offers upto 25 days of standby time.
On the other hand, the Nokia 100 is a single SIM device. It is just equipped with an FM radio to keep boredom at bay. The device offers a flashlight and a claimed talk time of upto 7 hours and standby time of 35 days.
In select markets, these phones will also be offered with Nokia Life Tools, which delivers market information, weather forecasts, health advice, language tuition, and entertainment news to an on-board app using an SMS system.
The Nokia 101 will retail for $25 (approx Rs 1125) and 100 is expected to price $20 (approx Rs 900). The 101 will be available in a few months, while the latter will hit the market before the year end.
